Parkwyn Training and Consulting supports the SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access, and Recovery (SOAR) model for Social Security disability benefit application assistance. Through training, technical assistance, and ongoing support, we partner with states and communities to maximize access to income and strengthen advocacy for services that assist individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

    PTC partners with Continuums of Care, regional coalitions, and cross-sector groups to provide tailored support to improve access and maximize income for those they serve.

Why SOAR?

For individuals with disabling health conditions that impact their ability to work, Social Security Disability Benefits (SSI/SSDI) can be life-changing. However, the application process is complex and especially challenging for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

SOAR is an application assistance model designed to address these barriers, reduce processing time, and increase approval rates.
